Your Health is
Diet is an underlying theme for almost every health concern. It plays a significant part in weight gain and obesity, physical and mental ailments, chronic illnesses, and more. We'll talk about blood sugar imbalances, genetically engineered/hybrid food acidity, and a chemical in plants called phytochemicals. You'll leave with a better understanding of which herbal supplements and foods will help you have and maintain optimal health.
As The Page Turns:
The Joy of Journaling
Whether you’ve never journaled before, or if you’ve written in a journal sporadically over years, but never seem to get a practice in place, this self-care and wellness session will definitely help you find your journaling sweet spot. Sometimes we just need structure to help us carve out a routine we can stick to. Join this group to find solace and inspiration, possibility and retreat, and discover tools to express your thoughts and emotions in a creative way.
Cool, Calm, and Collected: Stress and Resilience
Do you have trouble sleeping, high blood pressure, stomach or bowel issues, or anxiety? These are the many warning signs of stress, which is your body's way of responding to any kind of demand. Resilience is the ability to bounce forward in times of adversity and to see challenges as opportunities for growth. The good news is that you have the power to turn off stress by maximizing the positive and minimizing the negative.
Are You Full of Sh*t?
Many health conditions that significantly impact quality of life stem from poor digestive health. The digestive system is essential for the maintenance of overall health. It is how we metabolize and absorb nutrients that sustain us, as well as how we eliminate waste and toxins. Learn to manage the much-needed balance between the emotional, physical and spiritual self.
Go With the Flow-Yoga
Hatha yoga sessions use the breath to create a link between the body and the mind. This well-rounded style of yoga balances and opens the body. Combining intentional breath with movement, you will be guided through a series of restorative yoga postures that encourage you to slow down, relax, and take care of yourself.
